The Constant

The Taro sponge is more than meets the eye with its cute lavender color because it can act as a blender and a brush and is great for both wet and dry use. The angled edge with a tapered point allows having precision while the curved base makes blending a breeze.

The Taro

Give the sponge a quick rinse with a mild soap before using for the first time. For cream and liquid products, use the Taro when it’s damp to the touch. For Powders, it is best to use it dry. The Taro sponge redefines the technology of sponges with its dual-layer microfibre which is antimicrobial, allows less product usage, and can function both as a brush and sponge

Brush and Sponge Care Tips

Brush

Make sure to clean your iCandy Pro Brush Set weekly. First, run the bristles of the brushes under lukewarm water. Move and separate the bristles so the water gets to the center of the brush. Angle your brushes downwards to avoid water going in the ferrule. This will help keep your brushes intact longer. Dip your brush into the iCandy Pro Brush and Sponge Cleaner. Swirl your brush and coat the bottom of the brush generously and work the soap into the bristles using the scrubber or your fingers.

Gently massage the bristles to loosen up the makeup residue in the brush bristles. Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water. Continue to swirl the brush on the scrubber until the water runs clear and the bristles are free from soap residue and pat the brushes dry using a towel to gently remove excess water from the bristles. Brush the bristles on the surface of the scrubber to pull it back into their original shape. Finally, Let the brushes rest on a counter, with the bristles hanging off the edge. Give your brushes on last fluff with the iCandy Pro silicone scrubber and your brushes are squeaky clean and ready to use!

PRO TIP For stubborn makeup products to be removed, you may need to double cleanse to fully clean the brush.

PRO TIP Avoid letting your brushes dry on the towel you used to remove excess moisture, this may cause mildew.

Sponge

For hygienic purposes and maximum performance, replace sponge every 6 weeks. To thoroughly cleanse your sponge: Place your sponge under warm water until it’s soaked enough to squeeze excess water out. Rub your sponge along the iCANDY PRO brush and sponge cleaner, making sure to coat the sponge, squeezing occasionally to effectively make the cleaner go through the center. Run warm water on the sponge while squeezing out to rinse away the makeup residue and cleaner until clean. Set to dry.
